Which origin story was better?

Several days ago I was able to watch Wolverine.  Now I did enjoy seeing all of the X-Men characters but overall the movie sucked.  To be honest, I think there was one origin story which was a bit more exciting than that.  I was watching Noggin, or Nick Jr for you sell-outs, at 7 pm for our evening Dora before Sofie goes off to bed.  Lo and behold, it was the Dora origin story.  It basically was about how she met all of her friends.  The difference between this and Wolverine is that at least Dora didn’t push us shit and call it sugar.  Sure it was stupid and made no sense.  But it didn’t change any storylines like Wolverine did.  Deadpool is Weapon XI?  What is that all about.

I didn't think it was quite that bad, but I did only pay $1 to rent it.

I did hate the Deadpool angle. That did piss me off. The studio realizes that the X-men franchise has been one of the most popular comics consistently in the last 20 years. You've already got the story written for you (sort of) with endless well-developed characters and detailed back stories to draw from. Why would you rewrite it? If it's because the director/writers/studio feel they can make it better, you'd better damn well deliver. You've got millions of fans who believe it was already great to begin with. -CWD

It was recently reported that Bryan Singer is interested in getting involved in the X-Men franchise again. How could they reboot after the garbage that was X3? I believe they are making the Deadpool movie and pretending like the Wolverine angle never took place…we shall see.
