Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Teaser Trailer

I know it’s a bit early to be showing you a new game, what with everybody running around the streets of Gotham City. Truth be told I’ve had the game since Tuesday and have yet to even start the game. But I did see this, a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel to War for Cybertron, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. It’s got all the spectacle and flash of the BayFormers but with the storyline and attention to Canon of both the original cartoon and comic series. Plus the Decepticons don’t look like pincushions. The story follows the last days of Cybertron, just prior to the Autobots climbing into the Ark and bailing for Earth.

This month’s GameInformer magazine has a great article on the game. Follow the link to check it out.

And of course, here’s the Teaser Trailer.  Dinobots, roll out!

I’m Batman – WalMart’s Commercial for Arkham City

My wife accidentally let slip last week that she pre-ordered Batman Arkham City for me. My wife has now become my favorite person on the planet (sorry kids, you lose) and I cannot wait to get my hands on this game. I may have to burn a few vacation days. My friend Torrey posted this up on his Facebook page and I had to share it. Here’s Walmart’s commercial for Batman Arkham City along with a few wallpapers to tide you over until the game’s release on October 18th. Enjoy.

The Avengers Trailer!!!!

I apologize for the lack of content lately. We’ve all been out of pocket with family-related stuff (nothing bad, just the usual) but I had to post this up. It’s just too good to ignore.

Batman: Arkham City Mr. Freeze Trailer

I’m glad to see my favorite Batman rogue showing his face in this game.   This is looking more amazing with every release.

Thanks to Comingsoon.net for sharing this with us.

The Avengers: ComicCon Character Artwork

Thanks to SuperheroHype.com for sharing these great images of three of the Avengers.  I’m sure more are to come and I’ll post them up as they’re made available.

I suppose I should line them up in order too.  I’ll do that once they’re all released.

New Trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man

Thanks to SuperheroHype for this one. Here’s the new teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, slated for release on July 3, 2012. Give it a watch and let us know what you think. Personally, I’m a huge Raimi fan and wasn’t thrilled to hear the studio was “rebooting” the franchise. I also didn’t like the first released images of Spidey’s costume. This doesn’t look half bad though. I’m willing to give it a shot.

Batman: Arkham City New 10 Minute Gameplay Clip

This game looks more amazing with every bit of information released.  The only thing that bothers me is the animation on Catwoman’s face, which looks choppy.  And she’s got creepy-eye going on.  Everything else is stunning.  Two-Face, Catwoman, Joker, Hugo Strange, The Riddler, Talia Al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, what more could you want from a Batman game?  Penguin maybe?

The original was considered by many reviewers to be the best comic book based video game of all time (not that there has ever been much competition in that genre).  This looks to top it.  I’m reserving my copy, and I recommend you do the same.

Take a look at the clip below and weigh in.

As usual, thanks to Comingsoon.net for sharing this with us.

Captain America: The First Avenger….finally the full trailer

Thanks yet again to Comingsoon.net for sharing the trailer with us. It’s beyond amazing and I can’t wait to see this film in theaters. I’ve also posted up the new movie poster which is equally snazzy.

Catwoman Trailer for Batman: Arkham City

Catwoman is playable now?  Looks like she’s as fun to use as Batman.  The first game, Batman:  Arkham Asylum was amazing and it looks like Rocksteady Games is on track to outdo itself with the sequel, Batman:  Arkham City.  I’m looking forward to villains like Two-Face, Black Mask, the Riddler, and Penguin slated to make appearances and join Mr. J and Harley in their fight against the Dark Knight and Catwoman.  Click on the image below to check out the trailer.

X-Men: First Class: The First Review

I’d like to thank Dan from It’s a Dan’s World for acting as guinea pig and seeing this movie in the theater, because I certainly wasn’t going to after the last X-fiasco.  You can follow the link or click on the image below to see his review.  I’m strongly considering taking a trip to the theater this weekend after reading his opinions on the film.

Dan writes for his own blog, It’s a Dan’s World where he reviews comics, movies, and digs up some of the greatest artwork, both cover art and fan-generated work, I’ve seen in awhile (it’s a tie between him and Girls Gone Geek).  You can check out his site anytime.  You won’t be disappointed.
